Set off on a private guided tour to Corcovado. We will embark on a 30-minute tram ride from Corcovado Station to the top of Corcovado Mountain. The summit offers the best views of the entire city and features the iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer with its wide open arms.

We will then take a train back to Corcovado Station and move on to Tijuca National Park, where we will visit the park’s waterfall and travel into its forest to discover the region’s flora. Stop for lunch (not included).

After these visits we head to the famous Sugar Loaf Mountain. The tour starts at its base, in Praia Vermelha, from where you will trek along the Pista Cláudio Coutinho and then take a 35 minutes trail, which winds up the mountain through lush forest.

There is a stop at a lookout point, which provides spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean and Rio’s surrounding mountains.

With a bit of luck, the opportunity to observe some of the area’s monkeys and birds. The hike eventually leads to Morro da Urca (220m), which is an excellent spot to take pictures, halfway up the Sugar Loaf Mountain at 396 meters.

From here take the cable-car lift, the rest of the way up to the top of the mountain and get unparalleled 360-degree views of the surrounding areas and enjoy the sunset. Return to hotel. Free evening.
